660 – Muhammad ibn Hafs narrated to us; Abu Hafs al-Abbār narrated; from Mansur and al-Aʿmash; from al-Minhal; from Saʿid; from Ibn ʿAbbas, who said:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek protection for al-Hasan and al-Husayn, saying, “Your forefather Abraham used to seek protection for Ishmael and Isaac with these words: ‘I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil, every poisonous creature, and from every harmful, envious eye.’”
٦٦٠ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ الْأَبَّارُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، وَالْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُعَوِّذُ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ وَقَالَ: " كَانَ أَبُوكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يُعَوِّذُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ: أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ "
