649 – With this same chain, ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; Ḥuṣayn ibn ʿAlī narrated to us; he said: “When I was a young boy, ʿAlī ibn Ḥusayn would take me along to Mecca. Near the area of al-Juhfa he would strip me for iḥrām (the state of consecration), and once we arrived he would carry me and perform ṭawāf (circumambulation) on my behalf.”
