634 – Al-Faḍl ibn Isḥāq narrated to us; Abū Qutaybah narrated to us; Dhayyāl ibn ʿUbayd narrated to me. He said: I heard my grandfather Ḥanẓalah ibn Ḥudhāym ibn Ḥanīfah say: I heard the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—say, “Orphanhood ends with puberty, and a girl is no longer deemed an orphan once she begins to menstruate.”
