628 – Hārūn ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; Sayyār narrated to us, from Jaʿfar; ʿAwf narrated to us, from Abū Rajāʾ, who said: I heard ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb (may Allah be pleased with him) say, “May Allah have mercy on the one who conducts trade on behalf of an orphan for no more than a single slap.”
