610 – Khalid ibn Khidāsh narrated to us; ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Muḥammad narrated; Thawr narrated to me; from Abū’l-Ghayth; from Abū Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever strives on behalf of a widow and a poor person is like a warrior in the cause of Allah, or like the one who spends his nights in prayer and his days in fasting.”
