61 – My father said: Hushaym narrated to us; Ismaʿil narrated to me, from Dhakwan al-Makki, from ʿAtaʾ, who said: “In the ʿaqiqah, the animal is cut up joint by joint, cooked with water and salt, and no bone is to be scorched or broken.”
