5 – Shujaʿ narrated to us; Yazid ibn ʿAtāʾ narrated to us; from Ibrahim ibn Muslim; from Abu al-Ahwas; from Ibn Masʿud; who traced it back to the Prophet ﷺ. He said: “When Allah bestows good upon someone, let that blessing be evident in him. Begin with those you support; set aside something from the surplus; you will not be blamed for holding on to what merely suffices, and do not render yourself incapable.”
