580 – Suwayd ibn Saʿīd informed us; ʿAlī ibn Mushir narrated to us, from Yahyā ibn Saʿīd, from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: “Abraham, peace be upon him, was circumcised with a qaddūm (an adze) when he was one hundred and twenty years old, and he lived for another eighty years after that.” Sufyān added: “He was the first person to perform circumcision.”
