579 – Yahya ibn Yusuf al-Zimmi narrated to us; he said: ʿUbayd Allah ibn ʿAmr narrated to us, from ʿAtiyyah al-Qurazi, who said:

In Madinah there was a khafidah (female circumciser) known as Umm ʿAtiyyah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, “Trim only a little and do not cut severely, for that brings more radiance to the face and is more pleasing to the husband.”
