578 – Muhammad ibn Salam al-Jumahi narrated to us; Za’ida ibn Abi Ruqqad narrated to us; from Thabit; from Anas ibn Malik, who said:

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Umm ‘Atiyyah: “When you perform the circumcision, take only a slight cut and do not go to excess, for that makes the face brighter and is more pleasing to the husband.”
