58 – Al-Ḥusayn ibn Muḥammad narrated to me; Khalid ibn al-Hārith narrated to us; from Hishām; from Ḥafṣah; from al-Rabāb; from Salmān ibn ʿĀmir, who said:

The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said, “A male infant is to have an ʿaqīqah; therefore, spill blood on his behalf and remove from him whatever causes harm.”
