53 – ʿAlī ibn al-Jaʿd and Bishr ibn al-Walīd narrated to us; they said, Sharik informed us, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAqīl, from ʿAlī ibn Ḥusayn, from Abū Rāfiʿ, who said: When Fāṭimah gave birth to Hasan, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, “Shave his hair and give in charity the weight of it in silver or gold to the poor, or to the awfād.” He meant the People of the Suffah. When she later gave birth to Husayn, she did the same.
٥٣ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، وَبِشْرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: لَمَّا وَلَدَتْ فَاطِمَةُ حَسَنًا قَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ: «احْلِقِي شَعْرَهُ وَتَصَدَّقِي بِوَزْنِهِ مِنَ الْوَرِقِ أَوِ الذَّهَبِ عَلَى الْمَسَاكِينِ أَوْ عَلَى الْأَوْفَاضِ» يَعْنِي أَهْلَ الصُّفَّةِ فَلَمَّا وَلَدَتْ حُسَيْنًا فَعَلَتْ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
