503 – Saʿīd ibn Sulaymān narrated to us; ʿAbbād ibn al-ʿAwwām narrated to us, from Sufyān ibn Ḥusayn, from Khālid ibn Sharīk, from al-ʿIrbāḍ ibn Sāriyah, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever gives his wife water to drink will be rewarded.” Al-ʿIrbāḍ added, “So I offered her water and then informed her of what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said.”
