502 – Abu Khaythamah narrated to us; Sufyan ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from ʿAmir ibn Saʿd, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “You will never spend anything, seeking thereby the Face of Allah, without being rewarded for it—even for the morsel you lift to your wife’s mouth.”
٥٠٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِنَّكَ لَنْ تُنْفِقَ نَفَقَةً تَبْتَغِي بِهَا وَجْهَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا أُجِرْتَ عَلَيْهَا حَتَّى فِي اللُّقْمَةِ تَرْفَعُهَا إِلَى فِي امْرَأَتِكَ»
