491 – Ishaq ibn Ibrahim transmitted to us; ʿAbdah ibn Sulayman narrated to us; Hisham ibn ʿUrwah, from his father, from ʿAʾishah, reported:

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never struck any of his wives with his hand—except while fighting in the path of Allah—and he never struck a servant or any woman.”
