Al-Nafaqa 'ala al-'IyalIbn Abi al-Dunya

486 – Abu Khaythamah narrated to us; Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us; Shuʿbah narrated from Abu Qazaʿah, from Hakim ibn Muʿawiyah, from his father: A man asked the Prophet ﷺ, “What are the wife’s rights over her husband?” He answered, “That he feed her whenever he eats, clothe her whenever he clothes himself, and that he neither strike her face, demean her, nor forsake her except within the house.”
