49 – Al-Ḥusayn ibn Muḥammad al-Saʿdī narrated to me; Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān narrated to us; from Jaʿfar ibn Muḥammad; from his father, that Fāṭimah would perform the ʿaqīqah (newborn sacrifice) for each of her children with one sheep, shave the child’s head on the seventh day, and give in charity silver equal to the weight of the hair. ⦗190⦘
50 – The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the ʿaqīqah for al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn with one ram each, shaved their heads, donated in charity the weight of their hair in gold or silver, and circumcised them on their seventh day.
٤٩ - حَدَّثَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السَّعْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ كَانَتْ تَعُقُّ عَنْ كُلِّ وَلَدٍ لَهَا شَاةً وَتَحْلِقُ رَأْسَهُ يَوْمَ السَّابِعِ وَتَصَدَّقُ بِوَزْنِهِ فِضَّةً

٥٠ - عَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، وَالْحُسَيْنِ بِكَبْشٍ كَبْشٍ وَحَلَقَ رُءُوسَهُمَا وَتَصَدَّقَ بِوَزْنِ شُعُورِهِمَا ذَهَبًا أَوْ فِضَّةً وَخَتَنَهُمَا يَوْمَ سُبُوعِهِمَا
