- ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥasan informed us; he said: ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Abī Dāwūd narrated to us, from Ṣāliḥ ibn Muḥammad al-Laythī, who said: I said to Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib, “My wife has miscarried.” He replied, “Go, perform the funeral prayer for the child and give him a name.”
