- Ḥamzah ibn al-ʿAbbās related to me; he said: ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥasan ibn Shaqīq narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us, and ʿĀṣim al-Aḥwal narrated to us from Khālid ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥriz, who said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar once spoke about performing the funeral prayer for children and remarked, “To offer the prayer over someone who has committed no sin is dearer to me.”
