411 – ʿAlī ibn Ibrāhīm al-Yashkurī narrated to me; Yaʿqūb ibn Muḥammad al-Zuhrī narrated to us; ʿAbd Allāh ibn Yaʿqūb ibn Isḥāq, the freedman of Muʿāwiyah, narrated to me; Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd narrated to us, from al-Zuhrī, who said: A woman from the early Emigrants came to me. Out of fear she had tucked her dirʿ (outer garment) into her sleeve, letting only her fingers stick out. She told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Many a woman who is clothed in this world will be naked in the Hereafter.”
