404 – Fudayl ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab narrated to us; Abu al-Ahwas narrated, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas, from ʿAbdullah, regarding the Almighty’s words, “and let them not display their adornment except what ordinarily shows thereof” (Q 24:31). He said, “What may show of it is the outer clothing, while what she must not reveal is the anklet, the necklace, or anything similar among her jewelry.”
