401 – Muhammad ibn Sulayman wrote to us, informing us that Yahya ibn Kathir, Abu al-Nadr al-Basri, said: My maternal uncle al-Muthanna narrated to us, from Umm al-Mutawakkil, from ʿAʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: The Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—sent someone to summon a woman. They replied, “She is spinning.” He said, “Leave her; let her profit from her work.”
