375 – Dawud ibn ʿAmr ibn Zuhayr al-Dabbi narrated to us; Yaʿqub ibn Muhammad ibn Tahlāʾ narrated to us, from Abuʾl-Rijal, from ʿAmra, from ʿĀʾisha, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “A house without dates is a house whose people go hungry.”
