372 – Muḥammad ibn Bakkār narrated to us; Marwān ibn Muʿāwiyah narrated to us; Maymūn Abū Manṣūr al-Juhanī narrated to us; he said: I heard Ibrāhīm al-Nakhaʿī say, "They were the most prosperous of people in their homes, yet each man’s clothing showed deliberate modesty."
٣٧٢ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَيْمُونٌ أَبُو مَنْصُورٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيَّ، يَقُولُ: كَانَ أَخْصَبَ الْقَوْمِ فِي بُيُوتِهِمْ وَفِي لِبَاسِ أَحَدِهِمْ تَجَوُّزٌ
