370 – Abu ʿUbaydah ibn Fudayl ibn ʿIyad narrated to us; Abu Saʿid, the freedman of Banu Hashim, narrated to us; from Hammam; from Qatadah; from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb; from his father; from his grandfather, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Eat, drink, and give in charity, for Allah loves to see the visible effect of His favor upon His servant.”
