365 – Ibrāhīm Abū Isḥāq ibn Isḥāq narrated to us; Fahl ibn ʿAwf narrated to us; Ḥammād ibn Salamah narrated to us; from ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿUmayr; from Abū al-Ahwaṣ; from his father, who said:
I came to the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—while I was disheveled and covered with dust. He asked, “What wealth do you possess?” I replied, “Allah has granted me every kind of property.” The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—then said, “When Allah bestows a blessing upon a servant, He loves to see the evidence of that blessing upon him.”
