357 – ʿAbdullah ibn al-Haytham al-Duri narrated to us; Shuʿayb ibn Harb informed us; al-Walid ibn Numayr ibn Aws al-Ashʿari narrated to us, from his father, who said: “They used to say, ‘Good manners are instilled by fathers, while righteousness comes from Allah.’”
