- Ishaq ibn Ibrahim related to us; Jarir related to us, from Mughira, from al-Shaʿbi, who said: I heard al-Nuʿman ibn Bashir say: The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said, “Be equitable among your children when giving gifts, just as you would like them to be equitable toward you in dutifulness and kindness.”
٣٥ - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «اعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ أَوْلَادَكُمْ فِي النُّحْلِ كَمَا تُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يَعْدِلُوا بَيْنَكُمْ فِي الْبِرِّ وَاللُّطْفِ»
