335 – Khalaf ibn Hisham narrated to us; Hammad ibn Usamah, together with Ismaʿil ibn ʿAyyash al-Himsi, narrated to us, from ʿUbayd Allah ibn ʿUmar, from Nafiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, that he would strike his sons when they committed grammatical errors.
