325 – Muʾammal ibn Hishām narrated to us; Ismāʿīl ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, from Yūnus, from al-Ḥasan, that Ibn ʿUmar said: The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, “Allah never entrusts a servant with a flock”—and, as I think he said, “any servant”—I then added, “whether the flock be few or many,” “without questioning him about it on the Day of Resurrection: Did he uphold Allah’s command among them or did he neglect it? Indeed, He will even question him about the members of his own household in particular.”
