322 – Saʿīd ibn Sulaymān al-Aḥwal al-Mukharrimī narrated to us; al-Naḍr ibn Ismāʿīl narrated to us; Ibn Abī Laylā narrated to us, from Dāwūd ibn ʿAlī, from his father, from Ibn ʿAbbās:
The Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—ordered that the whip be hung in the house.
٣٢٢ - حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلُ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِتَعْلِيقِ السَّوْطِ فِي الْبَيْتِ
