317 – al-Qāsim ibn Hāshim narrated to us; ʿAbd Allāh ibn Yūnus ibn ʿUbayd narrated to me. He said, “I once saw my father, Yūnus ibn ʿUbayd, standing in the courtyard. He addressed me briefly and then said to my tutor, ‘Teach him from what Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has taught you.’”
