316 – Hārūn ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; Shaybān narrated to us; Jaʿfar narrated to us; and Mālik ibn Dīnār narrated to us. He said: “It has reached us that Allah, exalted is He, says: ‘I am about to punish My creation, but then I look at those who gather to recite the Qur’an, the worshippers who keep the mosques alive, and the young children of Islam, and My anger subsides.’”
