302 – ʿAli ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us; Abu Muʿawiyah narrated to us; from al-Hajjaj, from Nafiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, who said: “A child would be taught the prayer once he could tell his right hand from his left.”
