297 – Al-Husayn ibn Hasan narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn Bakr al-Sahmi narrated to us; Sawwar Abu Hamza narrated to us, from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Command your children to perform the prayer when they are seven years old; discipline them over it when they reach ten; and separate them in their beds.”
