295 – Ishaq narrated to us; Humayd ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Humayd narrated to us; Hasan ibn Salih narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Hasan, from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “When your children reach seven years of age, instruct them to perform the prayer; when they reach ten, discipline them for it and separate them in their beds.”
