273 – Muḥammad ibn Nuṣayr ibn al-Walīd narrated to me; al-Asmaʿī told us, from Maʿmar—known as Ṣāḥib al-Banāt (“the man with daughters”)—who said: “I saw al-Ḥasan bouncing his little son and chanting:
Lord, do not hasten his appointed end
until I behold his nuptial tent erected;
inside it a gentle, cheerful young bride—
a Berber woman, destined to bear him sons.”
