272 – It has reached me that Hind bint ʿUtba used to bounce Muʿāwiya on her knee and chant:
If my foreboding about this boy proves right,
He will rule Quraysh just as my father ruled before.
٢٧٢ - وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ هِنْدَ بِنْتَ عُتْبَةَ كَانَتْ تُرْقِصُ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَتَقُولُ:

إِنَّ يَكُ ظَنِّي صَادِقًا فِي ذَا الصَّبِيِّ ... سَادَ قُرَيْشًا مِثْلَ مَا سَادَ أَبِي
