260 – Isḥāq related to us; Abū Muʿāwiyah related, from Ziyād ibn Mikhrāq, from Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah, from his father, who said: A man said, “O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I feel compassion for the sheep when I slaughter it.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, “If you show mercy to the sheep, Allah will show mercy to you.”
