27 – ʿAli ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us; Abu Muʿawiyah informed us; from Misʿar; from Ziyad; from al-Hasan, who attributed the report to the Prophet ﷺ: “When a man spends on his family without extravagance and without stinginess, it is regarded as spending in the cause of Allah.”
