25 – Khalid ibn Khidash narrated to us, Hatim ibn Ismaʿil narrated to us, al-Muhajir ibn Mismar narrated to us, from ʿAmir ibn Saʿd ibn Abi Waqqas, who said: I wrote to Jabir ibn Samurah, sending my servant Nafiʿ with the request, “Write to me something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” He wrote back: “I heard him—that is, the Prophet ﷺ—say: ‘When Allah grants one of you a blessing, let him begin with himself and the members of his household.’”
