233 – Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿla narrated to us; al-Muʿtamar related to us. He said, “I heard my father recount from Abu Tamimah, from Abu ʿUthman”—and Abu ʿUthman himself passed it on—“on the authority of Usamah ibn Zayd, who said:
‘The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would set me on one of his thighs and al-Hasan on the other. Then he would pull us both to his chest and say, “O Allah, show mercy to them both, for I am merciful to them both.”’”
