232 – Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz ibn Abi Rizmah narrated to me; al-Fadl ibn Musa reported to us, from Talhah ibn Yahya, from ʿAishah bint Talhah, from ʿAishah, that Usamah ibn Zayd was in front of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The Prophet moved to wipe the mucus from Usamah’s nose, but ʿAishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said, “Leave it to me, O Messenger of Allah—let me attend to him.” He replied, “O ʿAishah, love him, for I certainly love him.”
