199 – Ishaq ibn Ismaʿil narrated to us; Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us; Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Hisham ibn ʿUrwah, who said:

A baby boy was born to ʿUmar, and someone said to him, “Congratulations on the young horseman!” He replied, “Rather, Allah has made me free of need for him.” The term hināyah (service) was used to mean domestic service.
