Al-Nafaqa 'ala al-'IyalIbn Abi al-Dunya

192 – Thābit ibn Aḥmad al-Khuzāʿī narrated to me; ʿAlī ibn Ḥujr narrated to us; Yūsuf ibn Ziyād narrated to us; al-Ḍaḥḥāk ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated that Moses (peace be upon him) said, “My Lord, which deed is most beloved to You after believing in You and relying upon You?” He said, “O Moses, after faith in Me and trust in Me, the deed I love most is kindness toward children; they are upon My innate disposition, and when I take them (in death) I take them straight to My Paradise.”
