189 – Abu Khaythamah narrated to us; Yahya ibn Saʿid narrated to us. Jamil said: We were told on the authority of Anas that the Prophet ﷺ heard the cry of a child while he was in prayer, and we assumed that he shortened the prayer out of mercy for the child, since the child’s mother was also in prayer.
