178 – Ishaq ibn Ismaʿil narrated to us; Sufyan narrated, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: Al-Aqraʿ ibn Habis saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, kissing Husayn. He said, “I have ten children and I have never kissed any one of them.” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, replied, “Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.”
١٧٨ - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: أَبْصَرَ الْأَقْرَعُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُقَبِّلُ حُسَيْنًا فَقَالَ: إِنَّ لِي عَشَرَةً مِنَ الْوَلَدِ مَا قَبَّلْتُ وَاحِدًا مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: «إِنَّهُ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ لَا يُرْحَمُ»
