150 – ʿAlī ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us; Abū Muʿāwiyah informed us, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Isḥāq al-Qurashī, who said: I heard al-Shaʿbī say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “May Allah have mercy on a parent who helps his child to be dutiful.”
