149 – Ahmad b. Jamil narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah b. al-Mubarak related to us; ʿAsim b. Sulayman narrated, from Muslim Abū ʿAbd Allah al-Hanafi, who said: “Show kindness to your child, for that makes it more likely he will be kind to you; indeed, whoever wishes may end up provoking his child’s disobedience.”
