15 – Abu Khaythama narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Mahdī narrated to us, from Sufyān, from Saʿd b. Ibrāhīm, from ʿĀmir b. Saʿd, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, “Indeed, if you leave your heirs wealthy, that is better than leaving them in need.”
١٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ: «إِنَّكَ إِنْ تَدَعْ وَرَثَتَكَ أَغْنِيَاءَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ تَدَعَهُمْ عَالَةً»
